Spring is finally in full bloom now...
Let’s celebrate the new season - we certainly deserve to.
You probably fee like its time now to get your home into a warm-weather shape with a seasonal spring refresh to lift our spirits and give ourselves a new happy feeling.
To help and inspire you I’ve put together a little checklist which will hopefully kick start you with some new ideas.
Cushions and throws
Cushions and throws instantly change your rooms mood - and maybe yours too? After this strange time and the recent wet days a pastel throw or pretty floral cushion like my 'Flourish Cushions;

will give your space that happy spring feel and give a soft touch to a neutral room.
You could try a shade that you normally don’t include in your home to add that fresh ‘POP’ of colour like this mix of blues and mustard.

Flowers
There is a blooming abundance in our gardens as everything comes alive in Spring, so be sure to treat yourself with fresh wildflowers picked from the roadside or some of the clever faux stems we have available.
Refreshing your home with flowers is an instant fix.
Some of my personal favourites are ranunculus, peonies, poppies and garden roses…but a bunch of field flowers in a jar are just as pretty.
Mirrors
Mirrors are a great way to spread more light around your rooms. Any style of mirror will help bounce light around and make it feel open and airy! To open up your living room, try a large mirror above the back of your sofa.
Add a Central Focus to your Room
If you’re looking for a smaller way to make a spring refresh, a new footstool can be a great place to start.
The centrepiece of any living room, a footstool can give your space a completely new look for a fraction of the price of a new sofa. And there are so many stylish options you can choose from.
Or we are able to make any style of footstool to any size, style and fabric covering of your choice - which could even match your sofa.
Rearrange Your Living Room
It might just be time to start fresh in your living room. You can opt for a new sofa or dining set or make way for some new chairs, replace the rug, or just work with what you already have.
If you're not sure where to star - I'm able to help with ideas ... and I can walk through your room with you over facetime, skype or whats app. My design service will help interpret your ideas and vision and create a reflection of your own personality.
Check out my link here and see how I've helped all sorts of customers with their design needs.
Stay safe and well and hope these little ideas will help give you a 'lift' and some inspiration for your home over the next month. Vicki x
